Heart of Life: Centre for Spiritual and Pastoral Formation

Heart of Life began in 1983, founded by Fr Brian Gallagher msc. Its flagship program for the formation of Spiritual Directors, Siloam, is the longest-running of its kind in Australia.

In its 40 years of service, Heart of Life has provided formation and training for directors, supervisors, and those who accompany others. Regular reflection events and seminars are also available to the general public, in-person and online.

The mission of Heart of Life is to enliven the divine spark in people’s hearts through contemplative formation. Spirituality of the Heart is at its core.
